Alarm fatigue is real. Intelligent software could be the answer. After moving their central monitoring station off the floor, and adopting Spacelab’s SafeNSound software to more effectively set alarm parameters customized to each patient, Eisenhower Health in California was able to provide a quieter, more peaceful environment for both patients and staff.
Hear what one staff member had to say.

“I think if you just take a listen, it helps us provide that quiet, healing environment for our patients. Staff can hear each other talk. The unit secretary can hear people on the other phone. Again, we don’t hear any alarms going off in the hall, but we know the patients are being cared for.”
“The average length of stay per patient has been reduced by four hours since we moved to a central monitoring unit, standardized waveform management, and drove compliance!”
