The Esophageal Stethoscope is placed in the esophagus to provide accurate measurement of core body temperature and transmit heart and lung sounds to an acoustical earpiece. Acoustic balloon is designed to enhance sound transmission quality. Long lead wire helps ensure the connection to the cable is away from the patient’s face.
